The Month Plus One Challenge!
The Forge Ahead “Month Plus One Challenge” is a community-based endeavor that relies on your active engagement and participation. Ever want to try something new but couldn’t find the time? Or perhaps you never finished that book sitting on your bedside nightstand? Maybe you just want to shake up your regular routine a bit! WE CHALLENGE YOU! Grab a shirt and snap a pic for social media while completing your challenge! 20% of proceeds go towards the organizations listed under our "Giving Back" tab.

December 2021 Community Service Event!List Item 3
There are 63,025 homeless people, including 15,421 homeless families with 22,907 homeless children sleeping on the streets of New York. The pandemic has had a tragic affect on our homeless brothers and sisters.
Forge Ahead is organizing a Breakfast Run to feed the homeless on the Streets of New York City
- Location: St Mary School (183 High Ridge Ave Ridgefield CT) after we prepare breakfast we will drive down to NYC (locations TBD)
- Date: December 18th
- Time: 5:00AM - 12:00 Noon
- Entry: $10 (used for food purchases and supplies. Also gets you our Orange Forge Ahead Bracelet and entry into our raffle!)
More Details:
We will be collecting the following Food items (if possible):
- 8 Dozen Eggs
- 10 Lbs of Bacon and Or Sausage
- 50 bagels or assorted pastries
- 10 Lbs of Hash Browns
- 50 items of assorted Fruits (Apples, Oranges, Bananas)
- 50: Paper Plates, Utensils, Napkins, Hot Cups
- Coffee Ground (Enough to make 5 Gallons)
- Hot Chocolate Mix (Enough to make 5 Gallons)
- 5 Gallons of Orange Juice
Will will also be accepting donations of the following:
- Winter Hats
- Winter Gloves
- Winter Scarves
- Winter Coats
Food and clothing Items can be dropped off at the Nancy Bossidy Recreation Center (183 High Ridge Road, Ridgefield, CT) on Friday December 17th between 6:00PM and 7:30PM or you can bring them the morning of the event (Saturday December 18th). If these times do not work for you, please email us at support@forgeahead.info and we can arrange a time to collect the food or clothing items for the event. If you can't make the event but would still like to donate food for the event, please click on the signup genius link and select an item to bring. There is no need to sign up for clothes donations. Thank you!
